Works fine (to my knowledge) to alert you to contacts coming down with covid. Very bare bones though. Would be helpful to have integrated data on cases in the burrough (or area in the UK) that you need to register to use the app (or just the ability to see data from particular regions), to integrate the covid pass and to display the high level government guidance i.e. to make it a single app for all things covid related

This app appears to work well. It’s always on and working for me. I’ve been pinged a few times, which has resulted in a response, I’ve notified when I tested positive, hopefully pinging others where necessary. Anything to help keep us safe is good in my book. If the various services had been more joined up, via the app, it would have been perfect.

This NHS app has greatly improved. After sticking rigidly to the few outdated Covid symptoms for months, it now shows a much fuller, more improved list, in accordance with contributors to the ZOE app. It also gives more advice on Long Covid symptoms. It does still fall rather short on advising people that Covid is ongoing and should be treated as such, which means in certain situations precautions such as masks are still advisable, but a big improvement none the less

There is no way to log a positive test result from a test purchased from Boots. I thought it was useful to have this app before in that I would be informed if someone tested positive but now seeing how impossible it is for me to log a positive result it seems to be a waste of time and space on my phone. This is unfortunate as even though restrictions have gone this could be a useful tool to prompt you to adjust behaviour if you have been in close contact with someone who tested positive

I check on it occasionally and find “Contact tracing is turned off” often. I’m using a Samsung Xcover 4. (Power saving etc is disabled for the app too). I couldn’t use the app to report a negative lateral test (for statistical reasons), but you can do that with the ZOE Covid study app.

It seems I can be indoors & someone may pass on pavement outdoor & I get pinged…..I understand nothing is absolutely perfect. I expect something a little more accurate (& poss less sensitive……..just a thought!)

Seems silly not to use this. Two notifications of exposure since the application was released. Thankfully I tested negative on both. Later when I had the virus, the PCR result code was accepted and other people were warned as such. Top work.

Hello, I have found this app extremely useful especially during the Lockdowns and have found it handy when I had Covid symptoms. It told me exactly what to do. So thank you NHS. Also told me if I have been in contact with someone who has Covid. WELL DONE

Good. Doing the proper way. 1 problem for me …Do not like if I’m driving my vehicle and I use my Bluetooth for music that I could be stuck in traffic next to another vehicle carrying a COVID positive person ( who was genuine and reported the virus and tested positive)( I realise this is down to me not pausing the app it’s just always switched on ) and there’s a ping , COVID is a much bigger problem but all the information and the NHS app are very simple guidelines. easy , simple and safe.

some people have had a poor experience of this app .the only problem I’ve had is the QR code scanner which has been a bit hit and miss otherwise all fine and no false or scam issues other than what is becoming routine nowadays
