I only use this app for UFC fights and some college football games. honestly it’s one of, if not the worst streaming apps Ive ever used. Constant crashes, lagging, pixelation and skips. You’d think after this amount of time they would have figured out the most basic function of the app which is steaming content. Apparently not. They also like to turn my notifications back on randomly which annoys me to no end.

Worse than most other streaming apps(twitch, Peacock, etc)… just rough around the edges with a lot of bugs, especially around casting video to TV’s. App requires frequent restarts or multiple attempts to get what you want done. It does function though, and the quality of the picture is great. Website isn’t any better.

This is the worst streaming service I have subscribed to you. Advertising leads many to believe that you can watch live sports if you pay for a subscription. This is NOT the case. In fact I did not even see a noticeable change in content line up after forking over $10. 90% of the videos in app I clicked on came back with “Media Not Allowed.” Essentially, you still need to have a cable package in order to watch this content. If that is the case, why would I spend more for ESPN Plus as well?

watching tennis is very hard on this app. I wish they sorted it by rounds and into men’s, womens, boys, girls etc. I have to scroll for a while before I find the matches I want to watch. I thought I found a workaround by using the search bar and looking for who I want to see! but, the first search results are news headlines which then ruin the outcome of the match. thanks for having tennis! but wish it was done better.

This app is faulty at best. I only have it as part of the Disney+/Hulu bundle. But, I often try to stream ESPN+ shows and, why I continue to try is beyond me at this point. The videos IF they load take forever and once they do finally start playing goodness forbid you touch ANYTHING (such as adjust the volume) or else it will completely exit out of it and you have to start all over again. It’s ridiculous and needs to be fixed. No excuse for this.

I wish this app would work better! The audio cuts in/out. Replays of games are super glitchy and don’t always load. IF they do, it’s constantly buffering. It doesn’t remember what you have watched or where you are in a specific replay. You have to remember what time frame you’re in and go back to find it. You have to wade through everything to find specific leagues/sports instead of the app remembering what you liked when you first signed up. Overall not worth it until bugs are fixed.

The app just doesnt work well. For example, if you watch a video then exit out, the sound from the video keeps playing as it continues auto playing. (Also, I kinda figured the ads would go away if I got ESPN+. Silly me.) If you’re reading an article and slightly tilt your phone, it sends you all the way back to the top. (This gets super annoying if youre trying to read in bed.) These and other problems have been around for years and they haven’t done anything to fix it.

This by far the worst media app I HAVE EVER USED. Constantly have issues while casting, errors freeze ups. Switching to consoles to avoid the absolute trash casting aspect and I get menu problems the fast forward bar won’t leave the screen it just pops back up on the screen. The most frustration I have ever had attempting to use an app. Just watch the highlights on YouTube because this app is total trash. Always had been, and always will be.

Renewed last year. Idk why. Maybe hoping for change. Still bad. Half the time can’t watch ESPN+ programming. Can’t access ESPN+ on other devices. Phone only. Called customer service twice. No help at all. Have annual subscription. Waste of money. I will also encourage others not to waste money. Definitely won’t renew at higher price. Thieves. Could hardly use service. No customer service. No refund. Im so pissed.

It’s fine if you want notifications ALL THE TIME! I saved my settings to only notify me of final scores on a couple of my fave teams, and it didn’t matter….CONSTANT notifications. Not to mention that the ESPN+ app advertises to be able to watch all these games, but when you search for them, your find out you have to have a cable provider log-in. How many people have cable anymore?! Either way….waste of time, waste of energy, and waste of space on my phone!
