Recent 17TRACK Package Tracker Reviews
I’ve used my app as my parcel tracking app for nearly 2 years now. 2 separate phones and I can attest to how it used to be amazingly spot on, but now is always at least a day behind, if not more. It can’t even know to report a package delivered until the next day. Sure glad I didn’t pay for any features. Update: My apps have improved enough to warrant a better rating. If Amazon purchases could be automatically added, I’d make it a maxed rating.
Easy to add tracking numbers and it detects carriers. It does NOT update very quickly – a package that’s been in transit for a few days still shows as waiting for an update when the carrier site says its almost here. It doesn’t display expected days until delivery, it doesn’t make it easy to see whats going on, and the push notifications are a joke in how delayed they are. Almost a day behind.
It was a nice app for the few minutes I used it. I uninstalled because there’s no map view. Everything else was fine. Really liked that it had a dark mode. Also not a big fan of the subscription, even though I probably wouldn’t need it. When I see a subscription it’s off-putting, it sounds greedy. Especially since many of the tracking apps are free. Make a paid and/or a free version.
Seems to be one of the better apps, I like the layout and that it can track packages from China. Correction: you can track up to 40 packages at a time, not 40 total. Very nice! However, I am having trouble with updated statuses. Packages that were delivered days ago still haven’t updated. It’s not recognizing Amazon tracking numbers. And the new email feature isn’t working when the email clearly shows a tracking number. I’ll still give it a chance and some time to see if it gets better.
The best app I’ve used for tracking packages from all over the world. I don’t mind adding tracking info manually, because it means I don’t have to give the app access to read my emails. The widget is great for seeing everything at a glance, and I can use the tagging system for different types of items to track both incoming and outgoing packages easily.
If you need to track packages from China, Japan or Korea this is a fantastic app. The app has all carriers from around the world, not just Asia tho. With the pandemic, it’s great to get notifications that your item has moved so you know it’s not lost. If you allow, the app will also automatically import tracking number and add them to you list. Less work on your end. My new go-to tracker, for sure!
The tool itself is great, tracks everything I throw at it with an abundance of carriers. The problem is, too many developers think their app deserves a monthly subscription. This might be fine for businesses, but consumers aren’t looking to pay x amount of money a month for each app. I have no problem paying for this, or even viewing ads if it helps you collect more revenue, but I’ll be damned if I’m paying a monthly fee to track a package when most of the carriers you list offer apps for free.
App is really good at what it does and is also available for Windows. You add a tracking number (up to 40 on free account) and it selects the correct carrier, without your input, most of the times. It has integrated translation to your selected language. Push messages do need some work though… you don’t always get notified on tracking updates.
The shipment tracking feature works well. Intuitive interface, easy to use. However, there’s also a “Deals” tab in the app with sales and deals on things like clothing, electronics, etc., which is weird because this is a package tracker, not a “sales and deals” app. I guess that’s what they actually mean by “all-in-one”? Anyway, it weirded me out, so it’s been uninstalled.
Pretty good. Has tons of carriers worldwide. More than other apps I’ve tried. I would like to see a translate always option so you don’t have to leave the app or go thru extra steps to see your status when they are in other languages. I do have Microsoft Translate, Google translator and Bixby vision is helpful as well. As far as free services go, this may be the best. I’ve tried at least 4 and this is the only one I still use. So much simpler than using USPS then UPS and FedEx all seperately.
